Plan of a war with Spain, 9 Dec. 1776.

A document possibly written by a Mr. White, to Viscount George Germain Sackville, British Secretary of State for the colonies in America, dated at Pisa, 9 Dec. 1776. The document proposes an elaborate plan for employing the help of the Mosquito Indians in a war against Spain to oust them from the Mosquito Coast, now part of Honduras and Nicaragua. The plan proposes using British troops in the American colonies if the current rebellion was crushed that winter. The English later invaded this area in 1780-81.
